Foundation & Founding Vision

History of Gospel Without Borders Mission

Gospel Without Borders Mission
Founded with a clear vision: To proclaim the Gospel to the nations while bringing hope and humanitarian aid to local and international communities.

From its inception, the mission has pursued three core objectives:

Advancing Christian values through evangelism and discipleship

Promoting education and serving the most vulnerable

Being a conduit for both spiritual transformation and practical compassion

This work was initiated by Pastor Martine Louis Joisil and her husband Evangelist Kerby Joisil, both seasoned evangelical ministers. Together they built a dynamic, flexible ministry structure addressing:
✓ Spiritual hunger through gospel proclamation
✓ Social needs via sustainable development programs
✓ Educational gaps in marginalized communities

Evolution & Global Expansion

2010: After the Earthquake – Martine Ministries
Following the January 12, 2010 earthquake, Pastors Martine Louis Joisil and Kerby Joisil founded Martine Ministries—a relief initiative combining evangelism, spiritual counseling, and humanitarian aid for Haitian survivors. During this critical period, the ministry:
✓ Distributed food and clothing to thousands
✓ Provided trauma healing programs
✓ Rebuilt spiritual foundations in devastated communities like Delmas

2018: Gospel Without Borders Ministry

In 2018, the work formally became Gospel Without Borders Ministry, expanding its vision to:
✓ Launch international evangelism campaigns
✓ Prioritize education and leadership development
✓ Address holistic human needs through Christ-centered programs

2024: Gospel Without Borders Mission
The 2024 rebranding to Gospel Without Borders Mission marked a new era of:
✓ Strategic global partnerships
✓ Diversified outreach initiatives
✓ Sustainable community transformation models
